Any good earth ele HM builds?
Hi,
i've been playing for a long time now on my ele and i like lighting stuff on fire but i wondered if there were any good earth builds too for HM and general PvE use
i know there is some real good potention for the earth attribute but i just don't know where to start
could anyone here share some of their builds or give me some good suggestions on a good earth build?
i don't want to be a normal warder, i want to be a good ele that can shake up my enemies with some devestating earth spells
i threw something together like this but i'm not quite sure
[echo sandstorm;OgVCkMzUqAX1SAyATjqAuIGH]
but i think depending on the situation the use of [unsteady ground] is good as well but i'm not too sure
any advice would be appreciated thank you

Here is my Earth Elementalist build, its fairly flexible and works very well in PvP and PvE.
[earth attunement][aura of restoration][glyph of lesser energy][ebon hawk][stoning][glowstone][sandstorm][sliver armor]
several small changes can be made to better suit any map your on. For example you can swap [sliver armor] for any PvE only skill and [aura of restoration] can also be removed if you have live monks with your party.

I'd definitely include [unsteady ground] and especially [eruption] in a HM earth ele build. If you echo eruption you can keep melee shut down for a looooooong time...which is good. Also [ebon battle standard of honor] is godly with damage-over-time AoE spells. If you can have [weaken armor] somewhere in your team aswell then that helps even more (note that it's now an AoE spell). With both the battle standard and cracked armour applied it's very common to hit high armoured HM foes for more damage than you'd hit a caster in NM.
A couple of wards can also be very useful. [ward against elements] is usually worth taking. [ward against melee] is also very good but if you echo eruption you'll probably find you won't get much use out of it.

For awhile I was using:
[assassins promise][finish him][ebon vanguard assassin support][eruption][churning earth][ward against melee][glyph of lesser energy][earth attunement]
It worked pretty well since you can keep blind + kd as well as keep the ward up. I had trouble occasionally with missing a casting of promise on something since enemies die somewhat fast despite the fact that the dmg isn't armor ignoring. The glyph / attunement is just helpful for if you miscast AP. Also, since glyph will recharge every time AP triggers, it's pretty much infinite casting of any spell.
I had good luck with this but [unsteady ground] may be a better elite...I just liked having no downtime with the AoEs and Ward.
I ran it with either 14 or 16 earth. I forget how many points I put into deadly arts, doesn't really need much. I used a 40/40 earth set as well to help with the long cast times of churning/eruption.
